After more than 26 years in the Private Security sector in Spain, 23 of them as a Private Investigator, full-time, in 2013 he met the requirements for Licensure as a Private Investigator in Ohio, as defined in Section 4749.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, and Rules 4501:5-1-02, 4501:5-1-06, 4501:5-1-07, and 4501:5-1-08 of the Ohio Administrative Code, and in March 2013 he passed with high grade the examination devised by the Director of Public Safety.   • September 2019. Course approved by the “Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission on Private Security Firearms.” Once passed this course and training, he obtained the license that allows him to carry concealed handguns while working as a Private Investigator. The Ohio Department of Public Safety issued this license.

  • August 2019. Training in order to obtain the “Ohio License to Carry a Concealed Handgun (CCW).” License issued by the Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County, Ohio.

In May of 2023, he was the winner of the 2023 La Mega Media Hispanic Business Awards for Best Professional Services Business in the South Ohio area.

In September of 2022, he attended the 97th Annual Conference of the World Association of Detectives, which was held in the island of Aruba. Cipriano and Marques were the only private investigators from Ohio at this international event.

April 2020. He participated as a speaker at the DETCON 2020 online edition 2.0, a Conference for Private Investigators organized by the Col·legi Oficial de Detectius Privats de Catalunya [Official Association of Private Detectives of Catalonia, Spain].

Due to his high continuous 4.0 at Wright State University, he was selected as a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, in The National Society of Leadership and Success, Phi Kappa Phi, and in the Spanish National Honor Society Sigma Delta Pi.

In August of 1999, he attended the Annual General Meeting of the World Association of Detectives (W.A.D.) and the Council of International Investigators (C.I.I.), celebrated in Chicago, USA. During this Meeting, he was appointed Regional Director for Spain, Portugal, and their Islands in the Council of International Investigators (C.I.I.).

In 1999 he was also elected as a new member of the Board of Directors in the World Association of Detectives.

In July 1998 he received a honors plaque for his collaboration in the "Continuing Education Course for Private Detectives" taught in Barcelona, ​​Spain.

In April of 1998 he attended the Professional International Meeting celebrated in San Remo, Italy, organized by the Global Investigators Network (G.I.N.), and the World Association of Detectives (W.A.D.).

In October of 1996 he was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the ACBDP Intercomunitaria de Detectives, the most important professional association in Spain.  At present, the aforementioned association is known as the Asociación Profesional de Detectives Privados de España.

In August of 1996, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, during the Annual General Meeting of the World Association of Detectives (W.A.D.), he was elected Area Governor for Spain of this important association.

He was one of the founders of the professional association Global Investigators Network (G.I.N.). This association was established in June of 1995.

In April of 1995 he attended the Annual General Meeting of the World Association of Detectives (W.A.D.), in Madrid, Spain.

He has written and still writes numerous articles for and has been interviewed by several Spanish newspapers and magazines like: Bierzo 7Diario de León4 CantonsLa CrónicaStaff Empresarial, Diari de Mallorca, El Periódico de Catalunya, Interviú, Época, and Diario El Mundo.

He was also invited to speak in several national, regional, and local radio programs in Spain, with presenters like Toni Marin, Ferran Real, David Gavizon, Vanessa Ratja, Miguel A. Varela, and Zaira Linares.

He was invited to participate in television programs like “Quan sigui gran” (La 2) and “Moros y cristianos” (Tele 5).

He often writes opinion articles for media in his hometown, Ponferrada, El Bierzo, in northwestern Spain.
